Sasha A
Sasha was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine. In 2009 Sasha entered Kharkiv State Design & Arts Academy where she perfected her art techniques in painting, drawing, stained-glass, mosaics, ceramics, and digital drawing design. In 2013 she graduated with a Bachelor degree in Monumental Painting. Currently Sasha lives in Virginia and is looking forward to sharing her artistic perspective, experience and creativity.

Michael M
Michael grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he attended the University of St Francis as an art education major for two years before transferring to the University of Evansville and graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting. He has experience with a wide range of 2D and 3D media -- from ceramic to photography and printmaking to graphic design -- but his passion is in painting and drawing. Michael moved to Virginia Beach with his partner and their cat in the fall of 2019 and is excited to get to explore the area and meet new people and share his love of art.

As an employee at Muse Paintbar, she brings a wealth of artistic knowledge and a friendly, approachable demeanor to every class, making the experience enjoyable and enriching for all participants. Kyra's dedication to her craft and her ability to inspire creativity in others make her a standout instructor.

Gillian is an artist who brings creativity to life by blending spirituality, mythology, and bright colors into her work. She loves experimenting with watercolor, gouache, and digital media to bring her imaginative ideas to the canvas. After earning her associate degree in Studio Arts from Tidewater Community College, she followed her dream and opened her own art shop, Studio Realm. When she's not creating, you'll find Gillian happily immersed in a good book, enjoying the outdoors, or practicing yoga.

Joanna M
Joanna was born and raised in Southern California and later found a home in Virginia after being stationed by the US Navy. She is now pursuing a bachelors degree online with a focus on illustration, at the Academy of Art University. She has a wide range of skills in traditional art mediums and digital art, she also loves making commissions especially during the holidays! In her free time you can find Joanna spending time with her dog, golfing, or rollerblading.

Kristen grew up surrounded with the desire to create. When she was in elementary school, she was obsessed with art and music class, where she had the chance to make her first movable and changeable paper dolls. Her parents enrolled her into the Young Arthur's Program, where she wrote and illustrated her own books! As time went on and she grew in age and began teaching herself through practice and YouTube videos. How to draw portraits, getting herself acclimated to color theory, human and animal anatomy and more. She didn't let her lack of college resources pull her down! To this day she is a self-taught artist that loves the tiny details in artistic pieces. Her joy of The Arts and desire to facilitate a place of happiness drives her to keep her creativity flowing!

Rachael is an artist, originally from Chicago. Recently moved here to VA, beach after receiving her bachelor's in psychology. Rachael has been creating art for a long time, originally learning from her late mother and for the last 5 years professionally doing commissions and selling her own work. Rachael’s preferred subject matter is animals and people. She uses bright contrasting light and beautiful colors to make art that is both realism and expressionism. She is always painting or creating at work and her spare time always up for the challenge of a new project.

Kaira S
A lifelong artist, Kaira Smith has been painting since she was a little girl and spent five years teaching art to students from kindergarten through 8th grade. She enjoys working with paint and colored pencils, with a special love for portraits and creating whatever flows from the heart. Known for her fun and relaxed teaching style, Kaira encourages guests to laugh, sip, and unwind while exploring their creativity. Outside the studio, she enjoys reading thrillers, hanging with family, and savoring an iced chai latte or mango margarita.

Sarah R
Originally from Richmond, Sarah Richards is a Virginia Beach-based artist and muralist. She is currently a senior at Virginia Wesleyan University studying Art and Psychology with plans to become an art therapist. Recently, Sarah was the featured college muralist in the 8th annual ViBe Mural Festival with a wall at Java Surf. She enjoys exploring themes of girlhood, florals, and her experience with scoliosis in her personal work. When she’s not creating, Sarah enjoys thrifting and trying new coffee shops!
