Daniela is young artist who is trying to find which art suits her best. Her upbringing in Bulgaria gives her a new and fun prospective that we are very excited about. Daniela brings her artistic flair and bubbly personality to our wonderful team. Her other interests include acting in which she has a bachelor's degree.

Kayla is an artist who enjoys expressing her creativity in many forms! She is a visual artist, as well as a poet, musician, and photographer. Recently receiving her degree in Speech Pathology from Longwood University, communication and connection are of great value to her. She has been an employee at Muse since 2018 and has loved being able to inspire the community to engage in authentic expression.

Kelcey has had a passion for art for many years. She is from Massachusetts, went to college in Long Island, and is currently in Virginia pursuing a degree in art therapy. Although she loves to paint, she also likes working with different art mediums like ceramics and photography. She is excited to see what she can teach, and learn, at Muse!

Chris grew up in Northern VA and taught himself to paint seven years ago by following along to Bob Ross videos. Beyond his paintings, Chris has a degree in economics and management, has been the project manager for commercial construction renovations, and is working on launching his startup business. In his free time, he also enjoys doing parkour, completing escape rooms, and playing video games.

Yigit C
Yigit is a Turkish artist who loves painting everything in sight. A classically trained oil painter in the Florentine style, before coming to Muse and painting with y'all, he worked as a concept artist for various TTRPG companies, and served as a resident artist for the city of Istanbul. When he is not painting with you at Muse, he is painting outside, whether en plein air, or in his studio. If you see him outside, don't be shy, say hi!

Sarah O
Sarah is an artist from New Jersey who studied art in Chicago, and is now in Virginia pursuing her masters in art therapy. She specializes in surrealist pencil drawings, watercolor landscapes, and abstract acrylic paintings. Her work as a teacher has informed her approach to creativity and art making as an instinctive human drive—one that facilitates both joy and problem solving. Her own practice centers the reverence of the natural world, her connection to it, and what it feels like to be human.

Steele is a visual artist born and raised in Virginia. She has been painting for most of her life and has developed a style that is abstract, colorful, and fun. She also just completed a master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from GW. When she is not painting, Steele enjoys reading, watching crime shows, and spending time with her two cats.

Mia is a proud Northern Virginia native who moved to Tampa, Florida to study Art Therapy and Psychology, and while there explored her interests in art facilitation through various roles in the community. Having returned to NOVA she is now pursuing her Master’s in Art Therapy at George Washington University, and is excited to learn and grow at Muse. When she’s not creating art, you can find her hiking U.S. National Parks, experimenting with new recipes, or leading with Young Life in Fairfax. Mia looks forward to helping foster the energetic, creative community that makes Muse so special!

Thalia is an acrylic artist who prioritizes the joy of painting. She has always enjoyed being creative and began acrylic painting in 2016 as an outlet. At Muse Paintbar she looks forward to cultivating a space for everyone to also enjoy the process of painting. Outside of painting, Thalia loves to bake! She has baked for weddings, birthday parties, and whenever someone just wanted a sweet treat!

Eden A
Eden is a small-town Pennsylvania native who recently moved to DC in search of a vibrant community and creative connections. With a background in Anthropology and Studio Art, Eden has always been drawn to the stories people tell through conversation, culture, or canvas. Eden finds value in sharing creativity in all its many forms. She is continually inspired by the artists she encounters in her daily life, and hopes to help others find and nurture their own spark. Outside the studio, you can usually find Eden reading, spending time with her cats, or exploring the outdoors.

Thaovy is a creative and wellness enthusiast who believes art is a language without rules, one where every mark holds meaning. After years studying the mind through research and the medical field, she followed a louder calling and found her place at the canvas. Her work is inspired by the healing nature of creative expression and the way art can uncover what words often leave behind. She holds deep respect for the courage it takes to create and to be seen. Grounded in self-acceptance, Thaovy invites others into a space where presence comes before perfection and the process becomes its own reward. Come as you are. The canvas will meet you there, just like it did for her. Beyond the studio, she finds inspiration through movement, nature, and nourishment, whether on a yoga mat, at a park, or in the kitchen; always creating, always learning.
