How do I sign up for a public event?

Find your closest studio, choose what masterpiece you want to paint, and sign up for the event!

When do you put up your full public calendar?

We typically post our event calendar around the 15th of the preceding month. So for example, we would post our August calendar around July 15th. This is to give people ample time to book  private parties, but also enough time to find a session you like, book it, and tell your friends!

Can kids come to public events?

Of course! We sell beer and wine, but we only card when people buy alcohol. Kids come with their parents, grandparents, etc, all the time and they have a blast. If you want more information about our kids’ parties, check out our kids’ party page.

What is your cancellation policy for public events?

We will provide a full refund if you cancel 48+ hours before the event. We will also provide store credit if you cancel 24+ hours before the event. Unfortunately, we’re not able to provide credit or a refund if cancelling inside of 24 hours, but we will create a 50% voucher code that you can apply toward a future event, so that the cost to sign up again is minimized.

Muse reserves the right to cancel events for any reason. Registrants will be notified prior to the event’s start time and refunds will be processed accordingly.

What is your no show policy for public sessions?

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide a refund or store credit if you miss your event.

Do you serve food and/or drinks?

Yes – we have a variety of tasty bites and over 20 beers & wines for your enjoyment! Check out the full menu here!

How do I plan a private party?

Can I use a discount/promo code on a private party?

Unfortunately, promo/discount codes cannot be applied to our private parties or  fundraisers, but we do a volume discount for parties with 20+ advance sign-ups. Ask your party planner for details!

What is your cancellation policy for private parties?

We hope you don’t have to cancel your event, but we understand things come up! We just ask that you let us know as soon as you can as there is a decent chance another party was interested in your date. If you cancel 14+ days in advance, everyone who has purchased a ticket will receive a refund (or store credit if they prefer). Parties that cancel with less than 14 days notice will receive store credit or the option to re-book their party for another time.

Can I return a gift voucher?

You can return a gift certificate or painter’s pack up to two weeks after purchasing.

Can I come to an event without reserving a seat in advance?

Sure! But we recommend signing up in advance to ensure you have a saved seat. If our class is sold out, we won’t have a seat for you and we’ll feel bad!

What’s the difference between promo, referral, and loyalty codes?

A promo code is a code you receive via an email promotion, from liking our Facebook page, or occasionally from the blue ad found at the top of our website. Valid promo codes can be used towards all calendar sessions (with the exception of private parties and fundraisers) and provide an immediate discount. Please note that codes shared on 3rd party sites may not be accurate!

A referral code ties into our rewards program. It’s one of the codes that you will receive in your confirmation email after booking a session. Give this code to any friends who haven’t attended a Muse session before and make sure they enter it at the checkout! While nothing will come off your total immediately, you’ll both bank an extra $5 in your loyalty accounts after your friend attends the session.

A loyalty code is a unique code tied to your specific email address (if it’s lost, you can always enter your email at the bottom of our Rewards page and we’ll email you the details). Once you accumulate $20 — both through referrals (see above) and booking sessions ($5 after each visit), you can use your loyalty code while checking out for a discount (equivalent to your total earned credit)!

What is your bad weather policy?

Muse’s first concern is for the safety of our instructors and guests. When weather is an issue, we’ll consult with some select neighboring businesses and then make a decision as to whether we will open or not. You can also check for weather alert updates on our Facebook page.

If you’d like to reschedule due to weather, just give us a call or shoot us an email and we’ll happily take care of you. If you’re a private party and the weather is an issue, we’ll happily reschedule the party for a different date that works for the whole group. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer last-minute (i.e., same day) refunds due to weather-related circumstances.
