Muse Richmond is located at Willow Lawn, around the corner from CAVA and directly in the center of the building, adjacent to Red Nails Salon.
Free parking is available in the lot directly across from our studio. If this lot is full, there is ample additional parking on the CAVA side of the building. Both options provide easy access to our studio and ensure a convenient visit.

    Mackenzie White graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2018 with a Bachelor's in Social Work. She has incorporated her passion for mental health and her love of art over the years and creates a safe space to allow peoples creativity shine through. Mackenzie has been with Muse since 2016 and works as a cook, assistant and lead artist. She has loved her journey within the company and is excited to continue growing. Along with being an artist, Mackenzie also enjoys caring for her house plants, spending time with her pets and going to the gym!

    Alexandra McGowan is a recent graduate from VCUarts. She graduated with a Bachelors in Painting and Printmaking, and a Minor in Art History. Alexandra has been teaching painting for 5 years, and loves getting to encourage those new to painting!

    Hello! I'm Gaby. I'm from Charlottesville, Va. I'm a 23 year old artist and student, pursuing my BA in graphic design. I've been painting since I could hold a brush, and it's still my favorite thing to do. I also like to illustrate and design clothing and tattoos. Once I graduate I want to do a tattoo apprenticeship, illustrate book covers, and start my own small business upcycling thrifted clothing. When I'm not doing art I'm usually hanging out with my husband and two cats, cooking, watching sci-fi, doing yoga, or listening to audio books.

    Hello all! My name is Naleah Chavers and I'm a lover of all forms of art. I am a VCU Alumni, and I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2023 with a focus in Painting and Printmaking. In my spare time I continue with my studies by painting portraits, crafting custom press-on nails, making digital art, and sketching my cat Emily and I. I'm an avid lover of art, nature, colors, exploring, kindness, animals, and crafts! I can't wait to paint with you!

    Pete Chiappinelli is a versatile artist with a rich career spanning various creative disciplines. A proud graduate of VCU School of the Arts, Pete has dedicated his professional life to the arts, working as an illustrator, graphic designer, product designer, and fine artist. His passion for creativity extends beyond visual art; he has been an active singer, playing in bands for most of his adult life. Pete's dual commitment to art and music showcases his diverse talents and unwavering dedication to creative expression. He is excited to have added teaching to his experience. Come say hello!

    Sam’s love of art started at around eight years old when she would redraw her favorite cartoon characters in class. She found herself drawing more often than not, then decided she would go to VCU after fours years of art classes in high school. After graduating from VCU with a major in painting and printmaking, she works along side her friend making custom accessories across different mediums when she’s not at Muse.

    Brooke Derdevanis is a recent VCUarts graduate and a local in the Richmond area. She has been painting since high school and enjoys doing landscapes and working with fun colors. When she’s not making art, Brooke spends her free time spoiling her sweet kitty named Bonita and spending time with her older brothers.

    Noah is a VCU arts alumni from Richmond Virginia. He strives to inspire people and spread positive energy. He encourages people to get out of their comfort zone and to try something new. Apart from painting he loves the outdoors, yoga, reading and music.

    Ayla is an illustrator and painter passionate about creating art that highlights unique experiences and underrepresented narratives. Her work has appeared in The Tusculum Review, and her painting examining breast cancer awareness and pink-washing was exhibited at the University of Exeter, England. Outside of making art she loves spending time with her cat. Ayla is completing her BFA in Communication Arts at Virginia Commonwealth University and will graduate in 2027.
