She earned her first degree black belt in karate at the age of 15. That's when her journey teaching began. She finds it rewarding to teach people new things in a fun and judgment free way. She mainly works with acrylic, but growing up was very involved with photography, sculpture, and wood working. Now she loves traveling, her dog, and reading a good book.

Kenn has been painting for most of his life, having begun his lessons with his grandmother as a toddler. He graduated with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from Long Island University's Southampton College with a specialization in drawing and painting. He feels that art is a great way to learn new things about yourself, and believes that no one is incapable of creating something beautiful if they try. In addition to painting, he also enjoys hiking, photography, sketching, writing, and skydiving.

Danielle is a self taught multidisciplinary artist who takes pride in her ability to create with limited resources. She believes the duty of an artist is to simply share their ideas and talents. During her time at Binghamton University, she designed for various cultural fashion shows, started her own brand selling her art and designs, and established an on-campus black hair care organization. When she's not teaching, she enjoys fashion photography, making choreography, singing, and making up fun recipes. She's eager to promote the artistry everyone brings to the table.

Nicholas Terranova is a local independent artist who produces professional quality work ranging from oil paintings, to charcoal drawings. Art has always been a special hobby in Nick's life, but after taking a few years of private lessons in his teens, it became so much more than that. He's displayed and showcased his work at countless DIY art nights or local creative events, and even right down here in Port Jefferson where he occasionally sets up a few paintings on a blanket by the waterfront. With over 15+ years of experience in front of an easel, his skills continue to grow, because for an artist there is literally no limit! Nick is passionate and eager to pass down his knowledge of the arts to anyone who is willing to learn.

Yessenia is a Long Island native who finds the outside world to be exciting and captivating. Her work aims to capture the beauty and uniqueness of objects and people. Different art mediums allow her to express her creative ideas within. Despite the medium, the colorfulness or playfulness within is still apprehended, with luck. Yessenia's desire to contribute to the culture is by showing people even though art is not for everybody hopefully they can still appreciate the artist's aesthetic vision. Ever since she was in elementary school, Mollie's goal was to become an art teacher. Mollie believes that anyone can (and should!) make art; her teaching philosophy focuses on the artistic process over the product. Throughout her career as a Visual Arts Education and Art History student at SUNY New Paltz, she learned how to make art accessible to students of any age or ability. Currently, Mollie is a Preschool Teacher and Art Educator and is pursuing a Master's Degree in Early Childhood/Special Education. Mollie hopes to share her passion for art-making and give everyone the confidence to make something that they are proud of.

Jude is an interdisciplinary artist who focuses on using found objects to recreate items of self identity. Jude found their love for drawing as a child and later went to Purchase College to develop their skills in painting and drawing further. During college, Jude created intricate pieces that covered the bittersweetness of childhood and the nostalgic-ness of trauma. Jude also crafts work that celebrates individuality in hopes to support other's journeys to becoming oneself. They always encourage to just have fun with art and is always excited to see what other's create.
