Please note that our studio can only be accessed through our exterior entrance near Target, not from inside the mall.
Parking is free and easy at Connecticut Post Mall, with plenty of spaces available in the lots surrounding the mall. We’re also just a short Uber or taxi ride from the Milford and New Haven Train Stations.

    With an adventurous eye for art, Josh brings creativity and a unique perspective to his role as Manager at Muse. He specializes in transforming scraps and forgotten materials from abandoned places into unique sculptures, finding beauty and potential in things that others may overlook. With a background in painting and an ongoing education in the fine arts, Josh has developed a keen eye for detail and a passion for giving forgotten objects new life. His appreciation for creativity, craftsmanship, and the unexpected makes him a natural fit for Muse.

    Julia, a mixed media artist based in New York, is working hard to expand her horizons in the art world. After being in art school for more than 6 years She decided to come to Muse to get some more real world experience in the career she loves.

  • Juliana L

    Jules has been making art ever since she could hold a crayon and she hasn’t stopped since. Creating art in her signature cutesy, kawaii style is more than just a hobby, it’s a lifelong love and her favorite way to unwind. Since joining Muse in 2020, Jules has been on a mission to help others tap into their own creativity. Whether it’s guiding someone through their first painting or cheering on a wild color choice, Jules loves watching people light up as they create. Nothing makes Jules happier than a room full of laughter, paint splatters, and pure creative joy.

  • Anita P

    Anita Pothanszky believes that making art is a fundamental part of what it means to be human. Whether it’s a crayon drawing proudly displayed on a fridge or a masterpiece hanging on the marble walls of a gallery, she finds value in all forms of creative expression—and encourages her students to do the same! A passionate lover of art history (and, generally, really really old stuff), Anita finds joy in those lightbulb moments in the studio when someone discovers something new: about the creative process, about themselves, or even about life. She is a strong advocate for museum accessibility and inclusion, a published illustrator, and, above all, a fellow creator always looking to learn.

  • Cora W

    Cora is excited to bring her love for creativity and the arts to Muse as a new Art Instructor. She is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University and was an Art Instructor at the Giggling Pig in Shelton for 7 years. Cora recently started her own business making handcrafted earrings and loves spreading joy through her creations. She also enjoys performing in musical theater and has appeared in many productions at Center Stage Theater in Shelton, most recently appearing as Kate Monster in Avenue Q. In her free time, Cora can be found hanging out with her cat, Philly Cheesesteak.

  • Jasmine G

    Inspired by childlike wonder, Jasmine Gonzalez aspires to use her art to bring childhood joy and fun into the world through multiple mediums such as painting, pen and ink, 3D, and fashion. Having graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in May 2025, she aims to create narrative children's books and comics, as well as continue to hone her skills in 3D illustration. When she's not making art, you can usually find her playing her favorite video games or drafting new ideas and patterns for her next fashion project.

  • Kiara W

    Kiara Watson-Smith is a self-taught creative who is passionate about making and refining beautiful things. With a deep love for painting and a goal to master every medium, she finds particular inspiration in fashion history—specifically the Rococo era and the Gilded Age—which she frequently references in her art and interior decoration. Additionally, Kiara has a strong interest in kitsune lore and Japanese mythology. She looks forward to helping others develop their creative skills while continuing to grow as an artist herself.

  • Justin V

    Justin is a multi-disciplinary artist with 13 years of experience from Norwalk, CT. Justin specializes in tattoos, portraiture, drawing, and painting. He believes that anyone can create something beautiful and has an inner artist that needs to be expressed. Spontaneous and fun, yet academic and instructive, are words that best describe the kind of artist Justin is and is inspired to be.

  • Theresa M

    Theresa is a local working artist and art teacher from Stratford, Connecticut. She has exhibited and sold work in Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, and various other locations over the past 25 years, including internationally. She works in a variety of styles and mediums. Her work is based on specific color palettes and moods related to the subject matter of each piece. She has been a certified art teacher, special education teacher, and administrator for grades K-12 for over 20 years in public, private, and extracurricular school settings. She holds a BS in Art Education from Southern Connecticut State University, an MA in Special Education with a K-12 comprehensive special education cross-endorsement from the University of St. Joseph’s, and an Intermediate Administrator certificate and Sixth Year in Advanced Studies at Sacred Heart University. She is a passionate artist and advocate for the arts.

  • Korrine M

    From one medium to another, Korrine is versatile in her skills, but what mainly calls to her are things that are weird and strange. She brings a different mindset on how to view art; it’s not always supposed to be perfect. She went to Pratt Institute in Brooklyn for four years, studying illustration. She uses her knowledge and experience to create the things she loves. In her free time, she watches movies nonstop and hangs out at local goth events.

  • Nia B

    Nia received her BA in American Studies with a concentration in Creative Practice from Vassar College. Beyond painting, she loves to express her creativity through collage, ceramics, and dance. Her whole life she has participated in arts programs, including fellowships with the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in her hometown of Norwalk, CT, and a pedagogy focused fellowship with the Dia Art Foundation. She believes the present moment is a wonderful place to be!
