Alec Acevedo
Alec is a freelance illustrator who's work ranges from fantasy and sci-fi to children's books and portraiture. He knew from an early age that he wanted to be an artist, by doodling on anything he could find. During his time at Syracuse University, Alec pursued many forms of art like the saxophone, clay sculpture, and animation, but really fell in love with drawing and painting. He now mainly works in acrylic paint as well as digitally in Adobe Photoshop. Alec is excited to share his passion for art with others in a relaxed and fun setting!

I've been an artist my whole life. From basic drawing, animation, photography, filmmaking, pottery and of course, painting, I've done it all! I love to inspire someone else's creativity, because in turn, it inspires me. I work with both children and adults, teaching different forms of art. Being an art teacher, along with painting at Muse, allows me to create art everyday and I absolutely love it. I'm excited to meet you and bring out your creativity!

Hello fellow art friends! I started my art career when I was about 8 years old. I always loved color and expression through art, and I took as many art classes as they allowed me too. I majored in art during college and even took up any painting jobs offered to me including remodeling homes. I paint every free second I get whether it's on canvas, furniture, even clothing - mostly anything I can get my hands on. My favorite place to get creative is out in nature which I spend most of my free time doing. I'm old fashioned in my taste of everything like clothing, music, movies and expression.
