DM’s experience with art began in their hometown of Cape Cod, where they first explored their creative passions through acting. Their interest in the arts led them to teach film and music in Boston. Over the years, their artistic focus has shifted to landscape art, where they’ve discovered a love for painting. This path has brought them to the talented Muse team, whose exemplary skills have helped countless others discover the budding artist within themselves.
  • Lucy W

Lucy is a lover of creativity across many mediums--from painting to dancing to making music. She particularly loves painting portraits. She received her BA from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine 2014, where she double majored in English Literature and Visual Art. Lucy worked at Muse Paintbar in Portland, Maine for years, before leaving Maine to wander the world. She is excited to now be at Muse Assembly Row while she pursues her Masters in Expressive Art Therapy at Lesley University. When she is not painting, Lucy loves running, cooking, being in the woods, contra dancing, singing in the car, playing the piano, and writing poetry.
  • Matt B

  • Aria H

Aria Heil is currently working towards a B.A in Social Welfare at Gordon College. Her main passions are working with people and connecting with them through the arts. Her first introductions to art were with her grandma when Aria was toddler aged, who would draw, paint or make crafts with her nearly every day. She was inspired to apply to Muse by wanting to carry on her grandmother's legacy of art and creativity and to encourage others to explore their gifts as well. Her other interests are working out, family, friends, singing, and cats. You can follow her music and art Instagram @aria.art.music
  • Katia N

Katia is a recent graduate from Lesley University where she got her BFA in Illustration. In her personal work she likes to explore such topics as femininity and sexuality with use of bold colors and fun patterns. Besides illustration and painting she has a passion for graphic design. She believes that when it comes to art, the journey is much more important than a final piece.
  • Jolie P

Jolie Maher is a local multimedia artist working on her B.A. and Masters degree in Art Education at Lesley University. She has lived in Massachusetts her whole life, but hopes to travel more upon graduating. Her artistic specialities include painting and drawing, but she has additional experience in ceramics, printmaking, fiber and digital arts. Aside from travel and experimenting with different media, Jolie is always aspiring to incorporate her art in more meaningful ways. Through her background in expressive art therapy, she has studied the link between art and psychology. Her current work focuses on themes of mindfulness and meditation, healing, self-expression, and the process of artmaking as an art form. In her spare time she journals, gardens, bakes, drinks a lot of tea, cries in the shower, and plays with every passing animal (especially doggos). Jolie also volunteers with and teaches others who are undergoing their own art journey; encouraging people to find/use their own creative processes and expression.
  • Connie O

Connie graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) in 2022 with a degree in Illustration. Her work is playful and bubbly with both colors and subjects matter. • Genna M

Genna received her Bachelor of Fine Art in Painting at Maine College of Art & Design in 2022. Her practice seeks to find a balance between using representational and abstraction to depict aspects of identity, behavior, and belonging. Her work takes on an immersive quality that extends off of the surface into space with the viewer. Provoked by the body, place, and nostalgia, she seeks to personify and recreate experiences her audience can connect with. Merging practices of painting, sculpture, printmaking, performance, and drawing, Genna finds a myriad of ways to show her audience how nothing is simple, and many different factors unite to form a fuller understanding of our world. Outside of making, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, throwing herself into moshpits, and driving around with the windows down so the whole neighborhood can hear the music. To find out more, you can check out her work at gmedinaco.com

When they are not living it up at Muse, you can find them drawing their favorite characters and watching silly movies.
  • Mimi L

Mimi graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a BA in Biology. While her academic background is in science, she grew up painting, sketching, and playing music. Her analytical, detail-oriented mindset pairs perfectly with her creative and artistic side. Outside the studio, she enjoys long walks with her family, playing sports, drinking coffee, and watching the sunset.
  • Morganna B

Morganna is a visual artist and performer based in Somerville, MA with over a decade of teaching experience. When they’re not making art Aanika likes to cook, share food with their community, and admire the ducks on the Charles.
  • Katelyn P

Kate graduated from Boston University with a BFA in Graphic Design, but never truly traded her paintbrush for a stylus. While currently working primarily in oil paints, she has always used art as a way to express herself and unwind. She is also a member of the Cambridge Art Association. Outside the studio, Kate loves spending time with her friends, volunteering at museums, and—recently—whittling wooden spoons.
  • Mia B
