Parking

Muse Garden City is located on Franklin Avenue between 9th Avenue and Stewart Avenue, one block from the Garden City Hotel. There is a dedicated parking lot behind Muse that can be accessed from both 11th Street and Stewart Avenue. Some of the lot is free (further away from Muse) and some is paid. Please check the signs for hours and cost. There is also metered parking in area that is free after 6 pm and on Sundays.

  • Natasha B

    Natasha is a multidisciplinary artist who loves to encourage her students to explore their personal expression. Her art has no limits, with experience working large scale for Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, to building websites for small businesses. She has a natural ability to identify other people's creative strengths and especially loves working with children. In her free time, she explores natural landscapes near and far, practices aerial arts, and jumps on any occasion to wear a costume.

  • Dana S

    Dana grew up in a home surrounded by the artwork of her great grandfather, grandmother and father.From a young age, she loved to create. She found her passion at a young age...decorative painting on three dimensional surfaces and furniture. She studied with nationally acclaimed decorative artists and developed her own style. Her latest love is watercolor painting. She also attended SUNY Farmingdale and graduated as the valedictorian in 2001 with her bachelors degree in Visual Communications. She worked for many years as a graphic designer. Besides her love for painting, she is certified to teach working with precious metal clay and has designed many pieces of silver and gold jewelry. For the past twelve years, she has taught and still currently teaches at SUNY Farmingdale in their Visual Communications department. She feels blessed every day to be able to do two things she absolutely loves...painting and teaching. She currently resides on the south shore with her husband, two daughters, a son, three dogs, four cats and a bird who she adores. Yes, she is a crazy animal lady! Her favorite place to find peace and solace at is the beach by the Robert Moses lighthouse. She also is obsessed with mermaids!!

    Kevin is a passionate artist and instructor at Muse Paintbar who believes that everyone has creativity within them, sometimes they just need the right space to unlock it. With a background in visual art and a love for storytelling through color and emotion, Kevin brings positive energy, patience, and a unique artistic style to every class. Whether guiding first-time painters or experienced creatives, they aim to make every session fun, engaging, and meaningful. Inspired by personal growth and the power of self-expression, Kevin encourages guests to not only paint a picture, but to walk away feeling proud, confident, and creatively refreshed.

  • Nicholas C

    Nicholas Cast is a traditional and digital artist based in Hicksville, New York. He enjoys painting portrait style art that depicts a range of emotions as well as abstract landscapes. A lot of his work takes on an imaginative style inspired by fantasy games. He finds the analysis of light and shadow an important part of his process. Creating shapes of opposing value to give the visual of a form with little information. When he’s not painting, Nicholas might be playing guitar, crafting costumes, gaming, or playing dungeons and dragons. All the ways in which he expresses his creativity inspire each other and he enjoys painting scenes from his dungeon and dragon games for his friends to view. Nicholas is inspired by video game concept artists like Mads Ahm, John Sweeney and Daren Bader. He hopes to one day follow in their footsteps.

    Megan Colozzo is an illustrator and designer with an extensive background and love for art. When she's not drawing, she enjoys crocheting, playing video games, and moshing at metal shows. She loves working with others and sharing the joy of art with everyone!
