Muse Charlottesville is located at the Shops at Stonefield across from Regal Cinemas and directly behind Lululemon. There is parking directly behind the studio. Simply follow the yellow brick road up the ramp to the front door!

    Jessica is a fun loving, enthusiastic, VCU graduate, whose creativity shines in all aspects of her life. She has an eye for figurative painting but dabbles in many areas of the arts. She first realized she had a knack for art when drawing portraits of her friends in her early years of college. It wasn't until after she graduated however, that she got a real taste for the art world. Inspired by her mothers artistry, Jessica began painting. She has developed a love of painting creative and beautiful abstract pieces. With the help of Muse, Jessica is finally ready to take on a career in art. Bringing lots of smiles and a positive attitude along the way, she is ready to help you find your inner artist.

  • Heather Meslar

    Growing up at the edge of the Blue Ridge mountains, Heather has always been drawn to the beauty of the natural world, and loved drawing the animals and plants she would find when exploring the woods. She combined these two interests by studying science illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design, where she also developed a love for acrylic painting. She continues to find inspiration in nature, and when not outside exploring with a sketchbook, is inside painting her pets.

    Catelyn is a local "Charlottesvillian" with a passion for art. She graduated from the VCU Arts program and moved back to the mountains. She is currently working as a graphic designer for a local brewery, and has joined the Muse team to share her passions with others. Catelyn loves spending time with her fiance, family and friends, enjoying the great outdoors, and visiting all the local Virginia wineries and breweries.

    Molly is a PVCC student with a love for all things art! From doing makeup for weddings to painting Charlottesville's landscapes, she enjoys incorporating creativity into everything she does. She is currently studying art education and hopes to become an art teacher in the near future so that she can share her passion with others.

    Ada is new to the Charlottesville area. Originally from Central Texas, she received her BFA in Communication and Design from Texas State University. Creating art has been her passion since she was a child. Currently working as a freelance artist, she aspires to become an illustrator for children's books. She is excited to teach and hopes to inspire others to find their own creative voice.

    Gabi grew up outside of Charlottesville VA in an intentional community, where she was homeschooled, and graduated from Piedmont Virginia Community College at eighteen. She trained in New York City for a year at the School of Visual Arts in their illustration program. She has a passion for hand painted clothing, hand poke tattoos, and the color pink. She hopes to pursue a career in illustration and tattooing in the future.
