Julia P
Ever since Julia can remember, she was constantly drawing and painting. As a self-taught artist, she has practiced different art mediums throughout the years and is a firm believer that everyone is an artist; it just takes practice and patience. After graduating high school in 2015, Julia was extremely grateful to work at Wholesome Campus, an enrichment school in Fairfax, VA, as an art teacher for elementary school kids. Here she found her love for teaching and sharing her talents. Throughout the years, Julia has continued to work as a freelance artist. She is now grateful to teach at Muse, where she can bring people joy and interact with them through a fun, educational art class.

Salem N
I've been an artsy person since I was a kid, from drawings to painting to makeup looks, and I'd always dreamt of having a career surrounding my love of art and design. Van Gogh and Monet were my catalysts in trying new mediums (my current favorites being acrylic paint and oil pastels) and working on landscapes, and I have made it my personal goal to learn from different artists on how they view the world and express their art. I hold a JMU BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in both Art and Book Arts, and in my free time I love to work on my design commissions and paint my fur babies. I thoroughly enjoy working and teaching at Muse, and I love to tell my classes that there is no such thing as a bad painting, just happy little accidents that lead to a beautifully unique experience and painting.
