FAQs
When will I receive my custom product?
Your custom order will arrive 1-2 weeks from the date of purchase. You may experience longer shipping times during peak holiday seasons. Tracking information will be sent once your order has shipped. Please allow 6-8 weeks from the date of purchase for preorders.
What does preorder mean?
All Made by Muse products are custom made by our artists. We take on a certain number of orders at a time and once that capacity has been reached, custom art will be available for preorder. Preorder items will arrive 6-8 weeks from the date of purchase.
The custom portrait style I want is sold out. When will I be able to order?
Not to worry! We offer a waitlist so you will be notified when we are accepting orders again.
What size is the artwork?
Made by Muse custom products are available in 2 different options: - 8x10” or 16x20” art print on premium print paper.
Is the frame included?
All of our custom portraits are designed on premium print paper. We offer black and white frames at an additional cost that you can select when completing your order. If a frame is selected, your artwork will arrive installed in the frame and ready to hang.
What are they made of?
Frames are available for an extra cost. We offer modern black or white frames made of medium density fiberboard with a matte coating and a lightweight, shatterproof styrene cover. Hanging hardware is pre-attached.
How many people/pets can I have in one portrait and what types of photos do you accept?
If your photo doesn’t meet our criteria, our team will reach out to you and help you find a more suitable photo. Regarding individual products: Modern and Storybook Portrait products can have a maximum number of 6 people/pets per design. Due to spacing restrictions and quality of photo received we do reserve the right to create your artwork in landscape orientation if it will provide you with the best custom design outcome possible. Custom Pet Portraits can have a maximum of two pets per portrait. At this time we can only illustrate one pet per Watercolor Pet Portrait per order. We can illustrate any pet - from pups, cats, fish, birds, turtles… you name it! Please note that we are unable to create portraits of cartoons or other trademarked characters at this time. We accept photos in the following formats: jpg, jpeg, png, or QEIC
Can you add or remove accessories from my pet?
All accessories such as leash, collar, and harness, will be removed from your portrait unless specified in the notes section, prior to placing your order.
What is the shipping rate for products shipped within the US?
The shipping rate for all products shipped within the US is a flat fee of $10. We do not offer international shipping at this time. The shipping rate applies to all products shipped within the US, regardless of the size, weight, or quantity of items in your order.
Do you ship outside of the US?
At this time we only ship within the US and are not able to ship products internationally.
What is your return policy?
Due to the custom nature of this product, we have a firm no refund policy. Orders may not be exchanged, returned, or edited. All orders and preorders are final sale. Delivery dates are estimates, and no refunds will be issued for items delivered past the estimated delivery date.
