  • Emilee Kelly
Emilee has always had a strong connection to the arts from the first time she figured out her red drumsticks could be used to draw on white walls. In her early art career during the late 90's and early 00's, she competed and was awarded in several juried art exhibitions on Long Island, as well as utilizing her skills in several community oriented projects, such as murals painted for a local legislator's office, her high school library, and her Girl Scout Gold award project painting a cafeteria mural to encouraging literacy and math skills in her elementary school. She attended SUNY New Paltz for a B.S. in Visual Arts and studied drawing, painting, ceramics, photography (film + digital), graphic design/typography, and web design, in addition to assisting in creating campus advertisements and organizing the 2012 B.S. Visual Arts Thesis Show. When she's not engrossed in designing websites, original tattoo designs, or covered in paint & charcoal, her creative side overflows into her kitchen and personal training endeavors.

  • Tania Rios
Free spirited and deeply inspired by nature, Tania hails from Long Beach, NY. When she's not working at Energy Fitness of Huntington, she dedicates much of her free time to running, kayaking, painting and reading. She enjoys working with earthy materials such as wood, leather and textured fabrics to bring an organic warmth to her projects. Tania prescribes to life as a student and allows her inherent curiosity for people and the natural world to fuel her passion for learning. She believes art gives a voice to the subconscious: from the colors we employ, to the mediums we use, to the brush strokes we make, to the subjects we choose. As a sentient artist, Tania approaches painting intuitively and encourages her students to embrace that which comes naturally while guiding them with useful techniques. She strives for all participants in her class to leave with a smile, a newfound skill and an encouraging nudge to their inner child. "To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong." - Joseph Chilton Pearce

  • Nicole Brickner
Nicole has always been the creative type. She started drawing at the age of three and she was writing and illustrating her own books at five. She attended the Fashion Institute of Technology after high school where she received her A.A.S degree in Fine Arts. After which she attended Brooklyn College to complete her B.A. in Studio Art. During this time, Nicole discovered a love for teaching others when she took a job at a local elementary school's after-school program. She decided at that point to combine her passion for The Arts with Education. She pursued and earned her M.S. degree in the field of Education from Brooklyn College and received New York State Teacher Certifications in the fields of Visual Arts & Childhood Education. Nicole has spent the past four years blending her passions while teaching painting, drawing and sculpture to students from grades K-6 in various NYC schools. When she is not working, Nicole enjoys painting large scale abstract works for her home and also has a sweet spot for creating edible art. She uses her visual art skills to create delicious and beautiful cakes and cookies. Her favorite creations, however, are her three sons Landon, Dean and Matteo. Nicole lives in Long Island with her husband and their "creations". She loves spending time with her family and hopes to pass her love of the arts to her sons.
