Kate has studied art and music almost her entire life. Her interest in art started when her grandfather showed her paintings by his cousin, the world-renowned fantasy artist Frank Frazetta. Since then she picked up whatever creative endeavors she could -- taking private painting and drawing lessons, as well as singing, writing and acting. She studied opera and harp at Stony Brook University, and has painted for charity auctions as well as commissioned pieces. She believes in the link between creativity and happiness, and that artistic expression is an important and fun way to lower stress levels while improving one's health and well-being. In her spare time, she enjoys painting tiny scenes inside sea shells, making music, blogging, and spending time with her three budgies.

Natalia has always found creative ways to express herself. As a child, she had a love for watercolor painting which grew into a love for sketching, playing musical instruments, set/interior design, and fashion. After years of exploring different interests she returned to painting, finding it therapeutic and fun. Natalia has been with Muse for nearly 4 years, and enjoys sharing the happiness and relaxation of painting with others. In her free time you can find Natalia traveling, hiking, and eating delicious food!

Since the moment she could pick up a crayon, all Melanie wanted to do was create and play with color. She attended a trade high school, where she could get a head start on an education in graphic design that she could take with her into college.. But life does what it does; priorities and plans change. With this, the only time Melanie could tap into that creative side of her, was in the monthly floor change at her retail job, where she worked as the visual manager. That is, until life strikes once more. At this time, Melanie decides this is time to make a change. No more folding, no more numbers, just creativity. Now she spends her free time commissioning watercolor pieces, up cycling old furniture, and hanging with her cat and dogs.

Crystal was born and raised in the Bronx. She went to college at SUNY New Paltz where she majored in theatre, concentrating in scenic design. There was when she discovered her love for painting, specifically scenic painting, where she used the stage as her canvas. She has painted backdrops and stage floors of over 400 square feet. Her favorite part about being a Muse instructor is seeing how distinctive each and every painting comes out.

Since childhood, Lorelei has shown her deep interest in art, joining art competitions in grade school, high school and college. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts major in Advertising, where she have learned different forms of traditional art and found new artists who gave her inspirations to be more competitive with her creativity. After graduating, she worked as a production background painter in TV cartoon shows for Disney and other animation companies around the world. She's been exploring different art crafts and art styles focusing on miniature clay sculptures, wood pyrography and pencil style digital illustrations.

Yamil always had an interest in art and had been pushed by his mother at a young age to develop those skills. Sketching and sculpture were his first interests but after learning video editing in High School, he began a path that led him through Film school, and then onto a Bachelor of Fine Arts. During his time in school, he gained skills in Digital Film Production, Video Game Design, Vector Illustration, and other various art mediums. He finds satisfaction through project building and is always looking to expand his skillset. For the last several years he has been animating graphics for videos, specifically in the medical world, and is now happily focused on breaking out of the commercial field and exploring more surrealist opportunities. He spends his free time painting and listening to music or trying out the latest PC game.

As a young child, Maiya's passion for art developed as she explored and learned about various mediums. Her love for nature was sparked by her grandfather who used to walk her through the garden as he told her stories about the animals and plants that made it their home. After earning a B.S. in Health Science from SUNY College at Brockport, she reconnected with her creative side and discovered she loves blending colors to inspire new beginnings on canvas. Her nature-themed paintings became the perfect form of self-expression. Although she has a passion for health and wellness, Maiya sees creative expression as a way to support mental health and self-love. In her free time, you can find her at the gym, practicing yoga, experimenting with new recipes, or watching Law and Order.
