  • Junie Coelho

Junie is a New England native who gravitated toward art at a young age. Her teachers did not always love the doodles on her assignments, but Junie was not discouraged. In her lifetime Junie has studied various mediums but finds her true passion in pencil drawing, particularly realistic portraiture. Junie is equally as passionate about teaching new and budding artists. As an instructor, Junie believes everyone has artistic talent and she is here to help you enhance it! When she isn't making art, you can find her eating ice cream, reading, or chasing after her one-year old daughter.

  • Liz Johnson

Liz Johnson grew up with a love of painting and drawing. She was surrounded by her grandmother's oil paintings and loved watching The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross and painting along. She knew early on she was happiest doodling, coloring and painting and wanted to pursue an art career. In school Liz enjoyed learning about any artist and studying the different colors, techniques, and styles used by each. She took great joy in playing with color and different mediums. Liz attended University of Massachusetts Dartmouth where she received her Bachelor's degree in art. She entered the art program as a jewelry major but changed over to textile design after seeing a lecture of the program during a foundation class. Liz found working with patterns, color, textures, and fibers inspirational. To learn techniques used in textiles that had been used for centuries gave Liz a scene of being part of a great tradition and lucky to part. After graduation Liz worked in a hand carved sign shop and later as a screen printer. She took time off from working to start her family, and with her husband helps raise two rambunctious boys and dog. When she is not helping defend the galaxy with her boys she is excited to take time out to Muse and paint. Liz finds a creative joy coming to work each day and seeing the great art work that is made there by all.

  • Victoria Roderick

Victoria is a crafter/mixed media artist from Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor of Arts as well as her teaching certification from Bridgewater State University. She taught art in public school for a couple years before deciding to be a stay at home mom. Victoria loves anything and everything art and has experimented in a number of art media over the years. Her favorites have been stained glass, ceramics, painting, and mixed media collage. Viki especially enjoys working with found objects and has been known to collect many interesting things that most other people would not think of as art supplies. She really enjoys creating art from whatever she has on hand at the time as well as repurposing found objects in the name of Art. She often works personal memorabilia that she can't stand to part with into her art. She finds using found objects that hold meaning specific to that artwork inspirational and can often tell you exactly when and where she obtained each material. Viki is inspired by life in many forms: struggles, triumphs, nature, yoga, music, and inspiring words. When she first started getting serious about her work in high school, it was life's struggles that fueled her artwork the most. Art has always been like an escape for her and has gotten her through many difficult times. Wanting to help others to harness this great escape is what inspired her to become an Art teacher. Victoria is excited that she is able to continue inspiring creativity by working at Muse and can't wait to help others get in touch with their artistic side.
